Acolhimento Institucional de Crianças e Adolescentes: Gestão para Proteção Integral e Defesa de Cidadania

The article discusses the management of institutional care agencies for children and adolescents that face the challenge of a process of institutional reorganization from the contemporary official regulations. As methodology, conduct a literature review to support a discussion on the management of the entities. Initially, it contextualizes, in public policy for children and adolescents, the change from the paradigm of irregular situation to the protection of rights. It analyzes the current need of the institutional reordering and the difficulties of the host entities in this process. The paper seeks helping to overcome these difficulties, presenting the political-pedagogical project as a central element in the institutional reorganization process, aiming at promoting and protecting the rights of children and adolescents. In this direction, it offers elements for improving the management and the quality of services: organization of medical records of the child / adolescent and preparation of flow charts that guide the service.
