This motor mainly realizes flux-intensifying ($L_{d}\\gt L_{q}$) and controls the air-gap flux, thus improving the flux-weakening ability and reliability of the motor. This paper analyzes the structure and working principle of the FI-FCPMM, and then makes a performance comparison with the conventional interior permanent magnet motor (CIPMM).
