We numerically investigate the tolerance to lateral displacement and angular deflection on the mode sorting performances for beams carrying orbital angular momentum. Comparing Laguerre-Gaussian beams and perfect vortex beams in terms of crosstalk on the sorting result reveals that Laguerre-Gaussian beams show stronger tolerance.
