Both the public and commercial sectors are starting to see new prospects and are eager to assist them with money for R&D. By establishing new spin-off startup firms, several universities in Thailand are attempting to commercialize their tiny Earth observation satellite programs. One of the institutions that has provided funding for initiatives connected to the small satellite (SmallSat) program for Earth Observation missions is King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). The project will be carried out as expected by the Asia Aviation Academy’s (AAA) Excellence Center of Space Technology and Research (ECSTAR). The primary goal of this study is to explain the architecture of the telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C) subsystem and the sophisticated computing technologies and computer communication network used by the Earth Observation Ground Station.
