This paper builds the model of the index BER (Bit Error Rate) on the AWGN channel aiming at the SIM (Sub carrier Index Modulation) part based on a generalized SIM-OFDM system. The BER of SIM-OFDM system consists of two parts, where the index BER itself is the one part and also affects the other part that's the symbol BER, so it's worth researching on the performance of the index BER.
