Along with the technological-economical factors that have developed over time, rapid urbanization, population growth, radical changes in social structure have begun to be observed in country, and this has inevitably reflected on the life of the society. Changing lifestyles have brought with new needs, as a result, the usual texture of cities has been moved away and historical buildings that represent our past have remained due to not being able to meet new needs. While most of structures are destroyed as they cannot be used with abandonment, the ones that are seen as qualified are loaded with new functions that can meet today's needs, ensuring the active use of the buildings and reintroducing them to the city and society. The concept of ergonomics also gains importance when it comes to equipment and organizations that will attract people's attention and provide comfort in reintegrating these structures into society. In context, it was examined whether there were changes in the spatial organization in line with newly acquired functions in transformation of Zinciriye, which has lagged behind times and has an important place in the city memory of Aksaray, into Information House, and how interventions made in reequipment of structure, which was built about 700 years ago, were shaped in the light of ergonomic criteria evaluated with on-site measurements and observations.
