The analysis of the students’ errors in using cohesive device were conducted based on the category of errors, namely : addition, ommision, substitution and ordering. The data was a text of opinion ( argumentative) which were written by the students. The Results of the analysis are taken as follows : There were four types of error made by the students, namely : Errors of addition (21,4%), errors of omission (26,8%), errors of substitution (36,9%) and errors of ordering 14,7 %). After the errors were viewed from the four types of the students’errors, the dominant type of errors which is made of the students is substitution ( 36,9%). 摘要:本研究旨在分析STBA PIA Medan第六学期学生在衔接器使用上的错误,从(1)衔接器使用错误的类型和(2)STBA PIA Medan第六学期学生在衔接器使用上的错误原因两个方面进行分析。本研究采用描述性定性研究方法。根据错误的类别,即:添加、省略、替换和排序,对学生使用衔接手段的错误进行了分析。数据是学生们写的一篇观点(论证)文章。分析结果表明:学生犯的错误有四种,分别是:加法错误(21.4%)、遗漏错误(26.8%)、替换错误(36.9%)和排序错误(14.7%)。从学生的四种错误类型来看,学生犯的主要错误类型是替换(36.9%)。造成错误的原因是语际、语内和无法观察到现有语言结构的限制。关键词:错误分析,衔接手段,意见文本。
