In order to overcome the gap, a differential encoding and decoding scheme for multiband UWB systems is proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme employs the parallel concatenation of two differential diagonal space-frequency encoders at the transmitter and performs a simple soft decision iterative decoding at the receiver.
