Application of wavelet transform to defect detection of wheelflats of railway wheels
A continuous wavelet transform is applied to vibration signal analysis of railway wheels to detect the meshing abnormality of wheels with tread defects. According to the analysis of experimental data, the results show that the method can be successfully applied to wheelflats detection of railway wheels.
