Investigation of the Effect of Different Boundary Conditions on the Islanding of Microgrids
Microgrids are a promising method to integrate the increasing number of decentralized generation into the energy system and to increase the security of supply through the possibility of island formation. Prior to islanding of the microgrid, it must be ensured, that the microgrid can operate as a stable autonomous island. This work tries to answer this question by transferring the internal state of the microgrid in interconnected operation to the microgrid in island operation. For this purpose, corresponding models are created in the dq-system, which enable a single-value analysis due to their stable operating point. In order to evaluate the method and to obtain a reliable result, several scenarios are examined. Based on the resulting eigenvalues, conclusions are then drawn about the stability of the microgrid in islanded operation.
