Partly combined field integral equation for electromagnetic radiation problems
A partly combined field integral equation (PCFIE) is proposed to deal with the electromagnetic radiation of antennas mounted on a large platform. In this method, the electrical filed integral equation (EFIE) is applied to wires and wire-surface junction parts, while the combined field integral equation (CFIE) is applied to the closed remaining part of the platform. Numerical results show that the convergence rate of the PCFIE is much better than that of EFIE when the iterative method is used to solve the electromagnetic radiation problem of a monopole antenna mounted on a sphere.
