This study was a qualitative research with a case study approach. The main data was obtained qualitatively from focus group discussion with 10 grade 4 students. The site of this was at Elementary School 119 Jambi City. The focus group discussion was conducted face-to-face in Indonesian, audio-taped, and directly transcribed. The data analyzed through reading the transcribed transcriptions. Through this research, the researcher found out aside some of the difficulties the students feel ready to learn English as a course at Elementary School 119 Jambi City because of the positive relationship teacher-students, students-students, students-school environment. 摘要

本研究从准备、经验、困难和克服困难等方面探讨学生在实施英语课程时的准备情况。本研究采用案例研究法进行定性研究。主要数据通过10名四年级学生的焦点小组讨论定性获得。地点是占碑市119小学。焦点小组讨论以印尼语面对面进行,录音并直接转录。通过阅读转录的转录来分析数据。通过本研究,研究者发现除了一些困难外,占壁市119小学的学生觉得准备好学习英语作为一门课程是因为老师与学生,学生与学生,学生与学校环境的积极关系。其次,学生的自主学习动机和支持环境对学生的英语学习有帮助。
