However, the problem that often occurs is the difficulty in selecting superior seeds for planting rice. Errors in the selection of these seeds have an impact on the yields produced. The purpose of this research is to build a system that can determine superior rice seeds so that crop yields are better than before. The method used in this study is the simple additive weighting method which can solve this problem in several steps by determining the criteria, weighting, and matrix calculations that are owned by the SAW method. The results of this study are in the form of a system that can determine a decision to select rice seeds for planting in the future.
