However, such a huge shift in the world of wireless technologies has resulted in abundant challenges including, incompatibility between wireless standards in heterogenous networks in addition to an increase in energy consumption. Therefore, a solution has been proposed that visions an era of seamless communication in heterogenous networks to mitigate the preceding challenges. The proposed solution will be evaluated and validated through a network simulator OMNeT++ along with a simulated network topology.
