It also describes replacement methods for a whole string of suspension insulators and a whole string of tension insulators on on a live line, an oiling method for the release clips (suspension type) of conductors, an examination method for conductors and their accessories (including damping wire and its release clip, dampers), and a method of eliminating the detected defects on a live line.
