The comparative analysis revealed main characteristics of these works, including lack of metro-rhythmic patterns, a subjective description of reality, laconic expressions, excessive expressiveness, the abundance of figurative and stylistic means in a small text-space. The theoretical significance of the work is determined by the introduction into the scientific circulation of unpublished works by E. M. Remarque, a contribution to the development of methodology for comparing works by different authors.
