Effect Analysis of Z-N Method Combined with GA on PID Parameter Optimization of Screw Extruder
Taking the screw extruder commonly used in chemical industry as the research object, the second-order model of its transmission control system is given. It is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and adjusted using the Ziegler-Nichols method, which is commonly used in engineering and has an overshoot of more than 22% and an adjustment time of about 4s; the GA-PID method is used for optimization and has an overshoot of less than 0.5%, an adjustment time of about 2s, and a steady-state error of 0. The simulation results demonstrate that the Z-N technique combined with GA for PID parameter optimization requires less than 20 iterations, has a quick convergence rate, is resilient, and has high control quality.
