By taking the advantages of previously built large scale impulse current generators, the present prototype increases the electrostatic energy stored in the smoothing capacitors which are connected in parallel with the full wave bridge rectifier to produce high amplitude impulse current. The obtained current impulse has a characteristic that satisfy IEC recommendations for all parameters required. 摘要
