Prototyping timed Petri net by discrete event simulator
In this investigation, we discuss how to prototype TPN models by means of general discrete event simulators. To do that, we define restricted TPN (rTPN) and text-based commands that are equivalent to rTPN. By experiments we show how we can go well with the simulators. Also we show such approach is easy and quick compared to dedicated implementation approach.
