In wireless sensor networks, nodes are power-limited, hence, we need to save the energy of nodes to guarantee the operations of the network. In this paper, the energy consumption of nodes in the process of node location estimation is reduced by allocating the transmission power of the anchors. Based on the mathematical model of Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimation error variance as a function of Received Signal Strength (RSS), the objective function of the optimization problem of hybrid DoA/RSS measurements localization is provided. Target is required to be localized with a pre-specified accuracy metric, which is defined in two cases: to be the determinant and to be the Cramer-Rao Bound (CRB) of the Bayesian Fisher Information Matrix (B-FIM). The accuracy metric is derived for RSS-only and hybrid DoA/RSS measurements. The existence and uniqueness of the solution of the optimization problem are proved. Finally, the proposed algorithm is validated through extensive simulations.
