The module up-converts linear frequency modulated S-band signal to Ku-band for radar transmission. The bandwidth of operation in Ku-band is 1 GHz with a frequency step resolution of 10 MHz. The reference frequency input to the module is a very low phase noise 100 MHz source. The module also generates Ku-band local oscillator frequency with an offset of 70 MHz from the transmission frequency at an isolation of -70 dBc for down conversion at the receiver.
