Feasible Personal Identification by Eye Blinking Using Wearable Device
Personal identification remains extremely important for the enhancement of digital lives. Biometrics is a powerful tool for identification, however, special tools, most of which are large and expensive are required. Due to the rapid advances in wearable and/or smart/intelligent sensor technologies, capturing human movements has become easier and is an attractive approach to identification. This paper experimentally reveals the feasibility of using glass type wearable sensors for personal identification based on eye blinking. Several preliminary experiments are performed and the results clarify that the proposed method has potential for human identification.
