In lifelong anti-retroviral (ARV) treatment, the resistance of People With HIV AIDS (PLWHA) is very important because the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), attacking or infecting T lymphocytes, causes a decrease in the immune system. The degree of PLWHA compliance with ARV can reduce the rate of pain and even death from HIV.
