On the critical value for the modified algebraic Riccati inequality
This paper deals with a modified algebraic Riccati inequality containing a multiplied parameter. Packet loss, quantization, network coupling, and other factors all contribute to this parameter. There exists a critical value of the parameter such that the Riccati inequality has a positive definite solution and the corresponding networked control and filtering problems are solvable. The critical value is studied, and a specific solution satisfying a stabilizing property is provided for the MARI with zero weighting matrices.
