The purpose of Green WLAN is to reduce the energy consumption without compromising the quality of service for end-users. In this paper, a dynamic and adaptive control algorithm of AP is proposed in order to save energy and prolong the service lives of APs. It includes AP selection which is solved with genetic algorithm and aimed to guarantee the whole coverage of WLAN, AP clustering, and the dynamic control algorithm of AP. Then simulation is operated on a virtual WLAN of high-density. 摘要
无线局域网(Wireless local network, wlan)正在全球范围内迅速部署,其中往往包含大量的空闲ap。绿色WLAN的目的是在不影响终端用户服务质量的情况下减少能源消耗。从节能和延长AP使用寿命的角度出发,提出了一种AP动态自适应控制算法。包括以保证无线局域网全覆盖为目标的遗传算法解决的AP选择、AP聚类和AP动态控制算法,并在高密度的虚拟无线局域网上进行仿真。结果表明,动态自适应的AP控制算法确实可以节省大量的能量,提高AP的使用效率。
