The traditional Oracle database can no longer withstand the increasing data pressure of the power consumption information acquisition system, so it is urgent to alter the system. This paper uses cloud computing technology to transform the power consumption information acquisition system in distribution network. By setting business process verification scenarios to simulate the use of electricity information collection and storage experiments, the feasibility of business migration to the cloud and the cloud platform’s performance advantage are verified.
