摘要

提出了一种基于对象的多媒体存储与检索的qos感知条带复制模型。该模型同时考虑了多媒体应用的可用性和连续性要求,并将这些要求表示为对象大小和副本数量的函数。通过该模型,可以计算和确定适合应用需求的最优对象大小和副本数量。在此基础上,本文进一步提出了一种基于自适应副本的并行检索机制,该机制根据性能要求决定是否、有多少副本以及哪些副本参与并行传输。实验结果表明,该模型在性能和可用性方面都能很好地提高服务质量。
