摘要

为了满足各种场景下对嵌入式视频编码器的需求,本文设计了一种基于多媒体处理器dm642 DSP的嵌入式多通道视频编码系统。针对实时性的应用需求,我们从三个层面对编码器进行了优化:首先,在算法层面,开发了一些适合DSP的快速算法;其次,在系统层面,调整编码器结构,利用EDMA优化数据传输;第三,在代码级别,对关键代码使用线性汇编。实验结果表明,该嵌入式视频编码器能够实时压缩四路CIF视频数据。
