Most of the translations of the Holy Qur’ān that were available in German language in 1970s were written by Non-Muslims, and they were inappropriate. He decided to translate and interpret the Qur’ān in German Language. For this he had the support of three institutions, Islamic Center Munich, Germany, Islamic Foundation Leicester, England and Dawah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan. It was completed on March 27, 1996. It was published by the Islamic Center Munich in 2001 and Dawah Academy Islamabad in 2006 under the title \"Der Koran Die Heilige Schrift Des Islam in Deutscher Ubertragung\". It is a common sense, authentic and literal translation, with great care. The necessary explanations in the Tafsīr are given in the footnotes, the Israelis are avoided and the authentic Tafsīr-e-Qur’ān is used. Tafsīr Bil Masoor is preferred and personal opinions are seldom mentioned.
