Structural, Electrical and Dielectric Behavior of Holmium Substituted La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 (La0.64 Ho.03Ca0.33MnO3)
This paper reports the structural, electrical and dielectric behavior of the Holmium (Ho) substituted Lanthanum Calcium Manganites (LCMO). Properties like capacitance and dielectric loss are measured directly from the LCR meter. The dielectric constant and the ac conductivity are measured from the capacitance and the dielectric loss data. The behaviors of the above parameters are studied and compared with un-doped LCMO. It is observed that the capacitance and the dielectric constant values of LCMO get reduced as the frequency increases. Above 500 kHz frequency most of the parameters shows no variation with the increase in frequency. The temperature response of capacitance, dielectric-loss, dielectric-constant, and ac-conductivities for Ho substituted LCMO is reported. The correlation between dielectric constant and dielectric loss for the Ho substitution LCMO measured at different frequencies has been discussed in this manuscript.
