Internet and cloud technologies provide great opportunities for education. Such an opportunity is the use of online laboratories for teaching students about management of information architectures. This paper describes the development of interactive online laboratories (OL) for teaching “service levels management in ecommerce systems”. The laboratory was created by IT engineering students with the aim of performing both technical and Information Systems management experiments. The IT tools used for the online laboratory are open source tools, deployed on a cloud infrastructure. The OL created with this approach give students the opportunity to perform experiments with real world scenarios from any location, at any time and at their own pace.
