This is mainly due to the increased exposure to ultraviolet rays. This shifts the normal lifestyle of people to an indoor lifestyle with sun-seeking holidays. In particular, malignant melanoma is considered as the deadliest skin disease due to its fast growth, invasion, and metastasis cycle. Early detection is critical since the prognosis improves significantly when the tumour is removed as soon as possible. Many benign pigmented skin lesions can also look like early melanomas.
