Experiencing rapid changes along with technological developments made it necessary for individuals to adapt to new situations. With this in mind, it is very important to analyse the relationship between individual innovativeness and risk-taking behaviour, which is thought to have significant effects on innovation capacity. In this context, it was decided to examine the relationship between innovativeness, self-confidence and risk-taking behaviours of university students. In order to obtain the data required for the study, a questionnaire study was conducted using face-to-face interview method with randomly selected 504 students studying at Firat University. The findings were interpreted by performing necessary statistical analyses with the obtained data, and the relationship between innovativeness and self-confidence and risk-taking behaviours of university students was questioned. It was tried to determine what needs to be done in order to increase the level of innovation and self-confidence and risk taking among the students.
