In this paper, we present a simulation system for VANET called CAVENET (Cellular Automaton based Vehicular Network). In CAVENET, the mobility patterns of nodes are generated by an 1-dimensional cellular automata. We implemented three routing protocols on CAVENET. We investigated the performance of the implemented routing protocols by CAVENET. 车辆自组织网络(Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network,简称VANET)是移动自组织网络的一种形式,它可以通过安装在车辆中的无线传感设备实现车辆与附近路边基础设施之间的通信。本文提出了一种基于元胞自动机的车辆网络仿真系统CAVENET (Cellular Automaton based vehicle Network)。在CAVENET中,节点的移动模式由一维元胞自动机生成。我们在CAVENET上实现了三种路由协议。我们研究了CAVENET实现的路由协议的性能。仿真结果表明,DYMO协议比AODV和OLSR协议具有更好的性能。
