摘要

本文引入热弹性势法计算力学均质双折射光纤的应力分布。两种这样的纤维;研究了熊猫纤维和领结纤维的双折射率,并计算了它们的双折射率。将结带纤维的应力分布与有限元计算结果进行了比较,结果与有限元计算结果吻合较好。结果表明,增大应力区面积、减小应力区与芯的距离以及一定程度上增大包层面积可以获得较高的双折射程度。

Thermal-stress-induced birefringence in panda and bow-tie optical fibers
