This type of antenna can be applied in various fields, such as the health, social, rescue, and military fields. This paper presents the performance of textile antennas with cordura substrate operating at the ISM band frequency in free-space condition and on-body condition. The substrate uses cordura fabric, while the radiating element uses copper yarn stitches. This study discusses the results of the simulation and measurement of the textile antenna. Through the measurement results, the performance of the antenna in the free space condition is better than the on-body condition with a VSWR value of 1.12 and a gain of 5.82 dBi. In addition, the Specific Absorption Ratio (SAR) value of 1.15 W/kg was obtained which states that the antenna is safe for use on the body because it is below the safe threshold, which is 1.6 W/kg.
