In this paper, the implementation strategies of on-demand service are listed and analyzed first. Then, the architecture of on-demand service is purposed, and the Groovy script language that is intelligent and powerful is chosen for the service specification language. Furthermore, the Groovy based on-demand service, which is named Groovy service, is designed and implemented based on Java language and the famous open source service container Tomcat/Axis.
