Sosa","doi":"10.5212/PublicatioHum.v.17i2.167175","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"In this paper we will discuss the role of education as a source of production and dissemination of knowledge in contemporary society, emphasizing the educational processes. Along the written we are going to defend that, it fi ts the different education practices, the objective of the social changes in the different organizational structures. To this end, it is essential to think about the role of the Education as a practice of socialization in the constitution of the sense of citizenship among its participants. Therefore, we chose to discuss about the relation knowledge-power, being appropriate in this perspective the analysis of the confi guration of existing networks of power in the present society. Thus, we will cross the discussions, concatenating that the current world order, there is some mobility of the population, however, a controlled motion. In this aspect emerges the concept of citizenship, which we are going to treat. We chose this way because we believe that citizenship can be achieved by everyone in theory, but in practice only a few manage to break with the quo status. So, showing up that professionals of Education must align their roles, focused not only on teaching practices, but offering subsidies to purchasers of educational processes. We are going to detach these thoughts in order to break the dichotomy citizen, non-citizen, which has no more reason to play. For this reason it was necessary to address the role of educational processes as they relate to discussions of everyday practices. Then, we are going to defend it is only on the educational processes, and they include school practices, especially basic education compulsory, there is a greater chance of affecting the current reality in the pursuit of disruptions.
