They are composed of several distributed, heterogeneous and, obviously, mobile components. The paper deals with the modeling, verification and testing of mobility protocols using the SDL approach. A well suited model is proposed to handle the component-based nature of mobile systems. We show that the chosen model allows the verification of mobility mechanisms and the performance of conformance and interoperability testing.
