The Prediction of Electrical Vehicles' Growth Rate and Management of Electrical Energy Demand in Turkey
Turkey has foreign dependence of energy up to %75. The %65 of imported sources is used in electrical energy. The problems mentioned in this paper affect badly next generation automobile technologies, such as electrical vehicles and smart electrical grids. The Turkish state obtained copyright of SAAB electrical vehicle 9-3 in 2015 which used to belong NEVS (National Electrical Vehicle Sweden). The Turkish state claims that the domestic electrical vehicle will be available for market in 2018. On the other hand, non-domestic vehicle industry is highly likely to have a positive growth rate during the next years in Turkey. This paper proposes the prediction of growth rate of electrical vehicle in Turkey and solution for electrical grid problems which caused load of electrical vehicles. The results show that a solution of the current consumption of electricity shifting from peak2 (18:00-22:00) to peak3 (22:00-06:00) is caused to reduce the new power plant investments and provided power optimization.
