As the economy grows., the carbon emissions (CO2) of the zone have attracted plenty of attention. Prediction of Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions help not only predict future global warming but also estimate expected costs of emission. In this study, grey theory has been adopted to analyze CO2emissions for Chongqing and Chengdu. The research is conducted based three main aspects, the first one aims to produce prediction results of CO2emissions based on a more recent sample period. Additionally., the paper analyzes energy structure of two cities seeking the main resources of CO2emissions. Otherwise, the relationship of CO2emissions between two cites is analyzed by grey correlation degree approach.
