Various forms of the encoder enable many new modulation schemes by the combination of the novel encoder and MM. This paper first proposes a new extended CPM (ECPM) scheme which uses the Extended Channel Encoder (ECE) of good property. Then a comparison of the Bit-Error-Rate (BER) of CPM and ECPM is performed through simulation.
