Swarm robotics is where a group of functional robots come together and perform a coordinated action based on the type of algorithm. Due to its robust and flexible nature swarm robots have been used in dynamic environments where access otherwise is a difficult task. Disaster response teams now deploy robotics along with human force where the teams rely on the inputs of the robots. The robustness and the automation feature of this technology makes them very useful in disaster struck areas. They can enter into spaces which is otherwise difficult for humans to do so.
