It is based on the on-demand concept. The new cluster head is chosen each time when the current one does not satisfy the property. A supporting cluster head is selected along with the cluster head. Based upon the SNR value the Clustering is done. With the use of this supporting cluster head always a copy of sensed data is saved to avoid data loss. On encountering a faulty cluster head the supporting cluster head takes the responsibility of data transmission to the base station.
