Emergent ultra wide band (UWB) technology based on impulse radio (UWB-IR) is currently investigated to broadcast synchronization signals in indoor environments, thus paving technically the way for the emergence of location based services. It considers that short duration pulses emission offer a high potential to recover reliable timing accuracy, but also to propagate efficiently in constraint environments. In this paper, we propose a basic signal structure implementation dedicated to multiple sources synchronization purposes. Main signal parameters influence will be covered and analyzed according to UWB current regulatory requirements.
