ESPACIO PÚBLICO, SOCIEDAD CIVIL Y CREENCIAS RELIGIOSAS: ORIGEN Y FILIACIONES DEL FRENTE NACIONAL POR LA FAMILIA (FNF) EN MÉXICO*

This article seeks to reconstruct the socio-political process that led to the creation of the Frente Nacional por la Familia (FNF) in Mexico. This group is comprised of a wide range of civil organizations that seek to impact the definition of human relationships, particularly those linked to the concept of family, based on a conservative position regarding values and laws. It is important to understand the causes of its configuration in the national context, religious affiliations, and strategies of action that are deployed to impact public life regardless of the officially lay nature of the Mexican State.
