Also, under certain assumptions one can guarantee that the adaptive control signal will avoid input saturation. In addition, by considering that the error model is in a parametric model form, robust adaptive control is used to improve robustness of systems in the presence of bounded disturbances. This is achieved by using the a-modification method.
