Problems and perspectives of the frozen semi-finished products market development

. The article deals with the state of production and sales of frozen semi-finished products in Ukraine. During the analysis, the structure, product range, production and sales volumes dynamics as well as the main market leaders are considered. It has been determined that the market of frozen products in Ukraine has quite a big potential. However, there are also problems that hinder the development of the entire industry. In the first place it is worthwhile to attribute to them the technological complexities, seasonality of demand, necessity of "cold logistics" organization, weak quality control of raw materials, duration of investment returns. Recently, the development of the frozen semi-finished products market can not be called active. The further concentration of production, the exit of small producers from the semi-finished products market as well as the entrance of foreign operators is forecasted.
