The features of the organization of nanocatalytic processes are given. Nanotechnologies used at Russian oil refineries as part of the processes of catalytic cracking, catalytic reforming, and hydrotreating are analyzed. A general idea of the market of nanocatalysts, its volume, trends and prospects for further development is given. The problematic issues related to the use of nanotechnology, the supply of equipment from abroad, the peculiarities of the synthesis of nanoparticles are identified. The analysis carried out in the article allows us to draw conclusions about the strategic directions for the development of nanotechnologies in Russia.
