Study on Song Dynasty Liu Yong’Ci as a pop

Why do humans live? What do humans live for? How should humans live? This is the beginning for humanities and the task of humanities. Human being must be in harmony to live together. But integration and cooperation are slogans that politicians only demand from the public. Human being are selfish and biased, and humans are always struggling between reality and ideals. Because of this agony and conflict, mankind has always been a history of conflict and war. And even if it’s not war, there are a lot of emotion boiling up on a fictional day for human. Strangely, human being have a greater sense of remorse for what they do not have than gratitude for what they have. After all, there is a feeling of remorse for many. So what is the most touching remorse from the human point of view? It is the most universal remorse. And it has been told through popular songs so far-as has China. Liu Yong’Ci was influential in that era. Its value is also: expression and comfort. The forms of Chinese literature. Especially, the Ci form is the literary form that expresses the human sensibility well. This study tried to identity the value of expression and comfort in his Ci’works by matching his Ci’works with modern pop.
